I put my project management hat on and created this guide to lay out all the steps in my cladding remediation journey. Your role is key as a leaseholder Board of Directors to direct the parallel workstreams of the project, make key decisions and make key appointments with multiple reputable companies. You don't need to be a fire specialist or a legal specialist, but as the Client with everything on the line financially, you need to be fully in the driving seat. All the pieces of the jigsaw need to come together, otherwise your application risks rejection or a funding shortfall. I believe the reason so few buildings have been successful so far is because the complexity has been under-estimated, and a tool like this has been unavailable until now.

Real projects are complex, imperfect and constantly evolving, and the flows may not occur exactly as shown. Please contact me for first-hand advice on its real world application. Download PDF.
